Default How do you study for Standardized tests?

As a home schooler how do you study for the standardized tests like the SAT or ACT? Study groups? Online classes? DVD courses? Local Classes?

In such cases I would prefer online studies. Online studies should be given the second preference only as the onus should always be on the direct study. Direct contact sessions also may be recommended for online students. There shoul be some interation directly between the teacher and the taught.

It depends on individual preference. I would like to do it alone by collecting adequate resources in online and friends. Many of my friends go for study groups and I prefer to doing it alone. Further you have to follow which way is good for you instead of going for what others choose.

Collecting study materials through all possible means will be my first motto. Once all the adequate resources are available, I sketch a plan to study them all within the stipulated time limit. Either I study alone or call my friends for a group discussion.

Default Preparing for standardized tests

At first I shall finish the courses. I shall minutely study the pattern of the questions and then try to form a team of 2 or 3 of my friends who are serious and co-operative. Thus I may manage to learn well in advance if I am in the right track.

How about using the old question papers. This is very effective because old question papers contain questions that are repeatedly asked over the years and hence concentration can be on those questions only.
